Media and Internet Publishing Guidelines

School Year 2008 - 2009

These guidelines are inteded to protect our minor students from being specificallyl identified throught material that is published in the media and/or posted on teh Internet. Please read them carefully and then return your signed form to Coach Irmas.

A student's first name may be printed and/or posted when it is determined to be essential to the content or format of the piece.

Authors will not identify a student' picture with the student's name without parental consent.

Photos of groups of students highlighting class or school activities are often published.

All pictures and associated captions must be approved by the team Webmaster prior to their posting.

A student's address, email address or other confidential information will never be posted.

All publications, multi-media presentations, web pages and video productions will be used within the School and/or the community at large, and all images, productions and content therein become the property of Westlake High School Aquatics.

Any use of student's work will not be for profit and there will be no compensation provided if used.
